I’m not sure I understand the question. Do you mean how am I aware that it is Lara’s birthday? Because I’ve been a fan for a long time now and have “celebrated” it for years.

If you mean how do I know her birthday is actually on February 14th (and not just making it up), I believe her very first original bio said her birthday was February 14th, 1968. And it has just been accepted by fans (and creators, I believe) since.
